We’re Here to Have Fun
During my photography sessions, I try to make sure that my clients feel comfortable and excited throughout the experience. I also want to make sure that they leave with the pictures that they are hoping for.
That’s why before each session, I meet with clients to walk through what will happen during the photoshoot, and ask them if there’s anything they absolutely want photographed. I also love getting to know my clients so when it’s time for the photoshoot, I’m not just some stranger with a camera – I’m your friend and #1 supporter, excited to capture your once-in-a-lifetime special moments.
It’s not business… It’s FUN business.
I was SO excited when a couple came to me and asked if they could do something a little less… formal. For anonymity, let’s call them Romeo and Juliet [wow how creative].
“Oh my. What could it be?”, I thought. What could a loving, well-behaved young couple from the Bay Area want to have photographed???
“We want a picture with me holding Juliet up in the air”, Romeo quietly mentioned with a slightly nervous tone.
A wide smile parted my lips.
Romeo. That is NO PROBLEM.
Before jumping right into the lifts, I made sure to understand what Romeo and Juliet were comfortable with doing – how high to lift, where Juliet was comfortable with getting lifted from, things of those sorts. I also went through some safety precautions like how to safely bail out of the lifts.
After a warm-up and a few practice lifts, Romeo and Juliet were doing them flawlessly! It was so amazing to watch them go through the lifts. They were having so much fun and had the most vibrant smiles. The music I was playing soon became concealed by a room full of wholesome giggles.
